Add a folder of music files creates duplicate entries

    Hi,

When I use "Add a folder of music files" it creates duplicate entries, is there a setting (I just can't find) that prevents this from happening? Is there perhaps a "delete duplicate entries" somewhere I just can't find either?

If your folder had 10 songs in and there was nothing in your music collection, if you add the folder, then add it again will there be 20 items listed? (it isn't supposed to do that).

      Sorry 'bout dat:blush:

It seems that it was my very disorganized folder structure on my work computer that caused me to believe that it was doing that. Copies all over the place...
I now have used Arrange files hoping that duplicate files would be overwritten, but I think it didn't. Is there a way out other than manual search... phew...

Cue reminder that I asked about a soundex-like function to look for duplicates when dAP was hardly more than a twinkle in Spoon's eye!

(who forgot that he had set up an auto signature and has just removed the duplicate!)
