Selective play and added files

I have used the save option to make a few different Selective Play selections easily available.
When I add new tracks to MMC, new artists appear in all of the saved Selective Play presets. Is there a way to prevent this from happening?

It works on an exclusion basis, not an inclusion, so no :( Must have been a reason why it was done like that, or maybe it was a 50:50 choice and I made the wrong one
