Just to say it is working perfectly for me, I have a club mix CD - ripped it to wave and mp3 and it is so difficult to tell where the change overs are.

Any update?
I am very interested in gapless playback. I am considering ripping my collection of approximately 500 CDs to monkeys audio. I would like to ensure that the live and theme albums in my collection will playback correctly before I commit to this endeavor.
How will gapless playback with the dAP work with monkeys audio? When will this functionality be available in a release (regular or beta)?
Thanks for a great application, Spoon.

It will work fine with monkeys - download the latest beta (in beta section of this forum).

gapless playback
fill me in about the gapless playback - is there an update i need to download? i just burned an audio CD from MP3 files and there's a 2 second gap between songs that are supposed to fade together. this gap is not there when i burn audio CDs with exact audio copy. how can i burn an audio CD with no gaps between the tracks, and can i do the same for an MP3 CD, disregarding the 10th of a second gaps that already exist, of course. thanks.Comment

ok but you can do that with a dsp effect?
For example, i have a song which has no sound during 20minutes(a gap), so if i 've understood if want to remove this gap, i can during the encoding use an effect to remove the gap, or let the gap and use after, the gapless playback to remove it during the playing?
I don't see the utility if you can do it with an effect
thank you
