FLAC codec not showing up in dBpoweramp Audio Player...

I've installed the flac codec through Codec Central and everything works just fine for the CD Ripper.

However, I am unable to add FLAC files to my media library using dBpoweramp Audio Player. The flac file format is not visible, though I've installed the codec correctly.

Again, everything works fine for CD Ripper. What am I doing wrong? :vmad:

See legacy codec central, dBpoweramp Audio Player cannot use R12 or R13 codecs, only older ones (you will have to install dAP to a different folder to Music Converter).

Duh! :headbang: Thanks, Spoon and LtData.

I remember reading that! But totally forgot about it...

P.S. - Spoon (and/or LtData), as the creator of dBpoweramp Audio Player, I know that you are partial to it. And rightly so! But would you be so kind as to recommend perhaps a different media player, as a backup to dAP , that's GUI is adequate and flac support is stellar?

        If not, I completely understand.

Again, thanks for all the help you two.

          Personally I only use dAP.
