    installation Problem with dAP r2

    Hello,
I am trying to install dAP r2 on the same PC I have dMC r12.
    I have dMC r13 installed in C:\Program Files\Illustrate\dBpoweramp.
I then installed dAP r2 to C:\Program Files\Illustrate\dAP and the program started.
Since I wanted to play FLAC encoded files I then downloaded the FLAC Codec from the Legacy Codec page.
I installed the FLAC Codec to C:\Program Files\Illustrate\dAP.
During the install I received an error that said I was trying to install release 5.3 and release 5.3 already exist on my system.
I selected the option to remove and reinstall the codec.
    The Codec appears to install.
I checked the Codec history and this appears to be the latest version of the FLAC Codec.
Is this the correct Legacy Codec or have I installed the newer version?

After the Codec finished installing I received the following error:
    Installation
    Error whilst running 'C:\Program Files\Illustrate\dAP\MusicConverter.exe'
    OK is the only option

I then see the codec installation screen with the Run program View Help option selected and the Finish option.
    I clicked Finish.
I see the FLAC Codec page.

I then ran dAP r2 and added FLAC encoded files to My Collection. I can play the files so I assume I have installed the correct Codec.
Have I installed the wrong version of the Codec for dAP r2?

Why did I receive the error:
    Error whilst running 'C:\Program Files\Illustrate\dAP\MusicConverter.exe'

Thanks for any help understanding this,
    Chip

Re: installation Problem with dAP r2

That is the correct legacy codec. Don't worry about the MusicConverter error, that's just because you don't have dMC r11.5 or older installed to the same directory.
