bug in the new r3 player

Hello,
I have the X-Fi Elite pro soundcard, system XPpro Sp3. When I install the r3-player, the soundcard does not work any more, ie the volume knob and all the other knobs are dead. I have to reinstall the soundcard after deinstalling r3.
I hope there is a remedy to this, so I can use r3.

I would say it is more of a bug in the sound card as there have been 5 years since R3 and it is the first I have heard of such.

Hello,
I meant the r3 beta 6 player which causes my soundcard to stop working.
Besides, I installed it in a different folder from the converter and used the legacy codecs. Was this OK ?

Yes, you can try selecting the DirectX audio output method (menu >> amp)

I reinstalled everything and now nit works fine, no bug.

Only I think that each time you reinstall, it's always working. Thing is not forever, but till it blows itself out again.
