    Installation problems audioplayer

    Hello,
I always get error messages when installing the legacy codecs for the player. Here is what I do:
1)I make a new folder in programs called encoder
2 I install the R13 in this folder and then the player r2 in the normal Illustrate folder
3)I install the normal codecs i the encoder- folder
4)I install the legacy codecs in the Illustrate-folder, clicking no to the uninstallation option. But here I always get the message "an error has occurred..).

What is wrong with my way of installing ? The player works except that it refuses to play 24-bit files.
    Please help !

A suggestion: Could you not make a clearer instruction on how to install the encoder R13 and the player r2 ? The existing texts are rather cryptic.

Your method is fine (the error is about a missing Music Converter).

Thank you, but I do not understand what you mean by "missing Music Converter"
Please explain, and also tell me if 24-bits are accepted.

dAPs codecs were quite old, on many formats 24 bit would not be supported.

Spoon means the installer is not detecting Music Converter in the directory you installed dAP to.
