    Tweaking dAP settings

I've followed Bill's advice, and the Audio Player is working more or less normally. However, one annoyance still exists. When the mouse pointer is placed on a filename in the Windows Explorer view, it should open the tag to give details of the file, but it doesn't. Hover the mouse pointer on a track name, and it comes up with "no info", despite all the info being present - a right click opens the tag, and brief track details are displayed in the player window when the file is being played. I seen to remember there's a Windows Explorer link, or some such, that can rectify this problem, but not sure. Thanks in advance for the help - Tony

The pop-up info is a dMC feature, not a dAP feature. What version of dMC do you have installed?

Try opening dBpowerAMP Configuration (for dMC r12.4) and check to make sure that the option is Enable Pop-Up Information tips is enabled?

OK, try doing the same for dMC Configuration for r11.5.

Thanks again for all the help! I decided to go the long route, and did a complete uninstall/reinstall of dAP and dMC - takes a bit longer but the result is worthwhile, Everything seems to be operating satisfactorily, although, when I installed the flac codec in dAP, I got a "error while installing" message - seems to be working ok though, so what might be the error? (Yep, it was the codec from legacy). Tony
