I now have dAP r2 working reasonably well along with dMC 11.5 (in its own separate folder), but, if I try to load any of the graphic presets, I get a drop-down menu listing various file options, but none of them gives me the required result. How do I get the graphic presets back, please? I used to use them regularly, according to the type of music I was playing. (The d/down menu lists only 'graphic equalizer settings' as file type, and they're nowhere to be seen!). Thanks for the help which I'm sure will be forthcoming - Tony:smile2:

I think you need the beta 3 version. -
Re: "Graphic equalizer settings missing
Spoon, I think I have the Beta 3 version, but clicking on 'load' in graphic equalizer still just brings up the "My Documents" drop down menu, which is not much help. (In file associations, all required codecs, including .ape and .fla are listed) XP Pro Sp2, 1.5 gig RAM. TonyComment

Tony
I think if you open dAP, open the Graphic Equalizer and select the option to open or to load presets, browse to your drive with dAP/dMC r11.5>Program Files>Illustrate>dBpowerAMP>Equalizer-Presets you will have gotten the program properly linked to the saved preset files.
Keep us posted.
Best wishes,

Re: "Graphic equalizer settings missing
Bill, I followed your suggestion, without success. The file "equalizer settings" does not exist on my drive in the "Illustrate Old" folder, which houses all the v11.5 stuff. I would, if I were able, reinstall the registered v11.5, but this version does not show up in control panel add/remove programs, so I'm not sure how to go about reinstalling it. Any suggestions? Much appreciated help, as always. TonyComment

Re: "Graphic equalizer settings missing
As a follow-up - I rechecked Add/Remove programs. and find there is an entry for dBpoweramp (16.69 MB), which I suspect might be the one to remove - there is a separate entry for Music Converter, plus all the codecs. I would feel happier if this could be confirmed before I remove it! Thanks again - TonyComment

Re: "Graphic equalizer settings missing
What I think I would do to reinstall dAP is to do a fresh install of the dAP r3 beta to your Illustrate Old folder, selecting the option to uninstall the previous version of the program if that is offered.
If there are still problems, I would try the factory reset routine here:
A. Some setting has changed that does not agree with your computer, run this to refresh dAP to the factory install setting: http://www.dbpoweramp.com/bin/dAPResetAll.exe
This should fix any untoward registry settings for dAP.
Good luck,

Re: "Graphic equalizer settings missing
Life wasn't mean to be easy, according to a former leader! Going to the beta test section, I clicked on the link to download dAP 11.5 r3 beta 6. Clicking on the link brings up the dialog box "you have chosen to download ...." and "Would you like to save this file". The SAVE button is grayed out, leaving only a cancel button, so ..... how do I download it? Thanks for your speedy help - TonyComment

Re: "Graphic equalizer settings missing
Ahh, then I have another idea for you to try: when you click on the window, does the "Save" button become available? My Firefox does this too, but when I then click on the little pop-up window asking me to save, the Save button fills in and becomes clickable.Comment
