Slider moves back and forth when changing songs

I'm having a problem with dbpoweramp.When it switches songs the slider will move back and forth when it does this, the song will play to the end then player will stop and will not play the next song. I will have to click skip then it will play the next song. This will go on every few songs, sometimes every song,then the slider will begin to move again and the player will stop again. Also, I'm not able to double click on a song in the library and have it play. What can I do?

If you are not using the r3 beta 6 version of dBpowerAMP Audio Player (dAP), I would suggest that you download and install this from the Beta section of this forum. This has been out for a few years and it is more stable than dAP r2 which is the version from the Products page,

Next, if you have recently downloaded any codecs for dAP, check to make sure that you have not installed any codecs from Codec Central in the same folder as dAP. The Codecs in Codec Central only work with Music Converter r12 or later and with the r3 beta version of dB CD Writer. dAP, Sveta, dB CD Writer r2, and versions r11.5 and earlier of Music Converter all need to use the Legacy codecs from Legacy Codec Central (there is a link to Legacy Codec Central at the Codec Central tabbed page).

If these do not apply to your situation, try opening the Options Menu (accessed through the Menu button or by right-clicking on any inactive portion of the skin). Select AMP. It will be set to either Wave Out or DirectX. Whichever it is set to, change it to the other.

If the problem persists, enter the Options menu, select MultiPlayer. Turnoff the cross-fade option. If necessary, try turning off gapless playback as well.

If none of these tips resolve your problem, please ost and let us know what you tried and what happened.

I think I solved the problem. I uninstalled db player and converter and then reinstalled and solved problem.
