audio player won't play more than 2 songs

I like audio player. the only problem is when i go to play in random mode no matter what I do, player will only play two songs then stop. How do I get the player to play my mmc continuously in random mode?

Typically, continuous random play requires that you enable both random play and selective play (where you have the option of selecting/restricting files to be played on the basis of Album, Artist, or genre). This is true of both version 2 and the beta version 3 of dB Audio Player.

If you have already checked, the one other thing I can think of that could cause Audio Player to behave in such a way is if you lack the appropriate codecs for the types of files you are trying to play. I believe that dB Audio layer should play wave files and mp3 files as is. Other types of audio files require the appropriate codecs. You MUST use the codecs that are provided in Legacy Codec Central with Audio Player (either version 2 or version 3) and NOT the codecs in Codec Central (which do not work with dB Audio Player, currently they only work with r12 and later of dB Music Converter and the beta r3 version of dB CD Writer). You will find a link to Legacy Codec Central at the Codec Centtral location.

If neither of these helps, please let us know.

      Best wishes,
      Bill

Is it the same 2 tracks or is it a different set of tracks each time you start the Music Player?

I have experienced similar problems when the player couldn't locate the audio files according to the path in MMC as the drive they were on suddenly became unavailable to Windows. Fortunately a reboot solved the problem.
