I just had to try and it was quite easy to add my own version of them. I sent it to Spoon and he told me how to include them in my skin.
Here is how to do that:
Open the files in an image handling program, change the colors, shapes and save the file (overwriting the old file), and there it is.
1. Copy for example the Playlist folder and files from dBpowerAMP/Skins/Default/Playlist to your own skin folder.
2. Edit the image files and overwrite the file names.
3. These will now be accessed by dAp.
4. When updating to dAp or creating skin install it will be included in that skin.
It is not possible that I know of to edit them in the skin designer (yet anyway).
I found no way to change the positions of upper left corner of the buttons (I think this is contained in an unreadable - nonunderstandable - file), but the button can be smaller or bigger than the original within the margins of the original positions. (Hope that was understandable).
The color schemes are in the Color -named files and is quite simple to understand. They are arranged in groups of 3 like:
128
0
0
and represent the R,G and B for some specific skin part or text. The above reads Red=128 Green=0 and Blue=0. The scale goes from 0 to 255 where 0=black or no light and 255 is full blast of light in that color. The example color would be a medium dark/light red color.
How to fool around with this is to open the active Color file and change the numbers within the 3-groups, save file (no need to close it) and then have dAp open the part and check for changes. Then if you want to be systematic about it note down which of the 3-groups represent which component, and soon you have full control of setting those colors. (I now found that member xoas has done this and has reported the whole list in post: http://forum.dbpoweramp.com/showthre...id=442#post442 , thank you Bill!)
If you liked the BestRipCDRed skin you could now download an updated version of it with the Playlist editor, Prev played and MMC color changes included.
