How to use the Crossfading

Hey mates i've got a problem with teh crossfader.....Who can tell me how it works and how i get startet with this function....

Switch it on, leave it at 8 seconds, then when one of your tracks is 8 seconds from finishing the next track will start and fade in.

BTW you need a sound card that can play two audio streams.
