    wma codec

I cannot get recognition of wma by MMC. When I drag a wma file to MMC the artist column is blank, genre column is blank and length shows as 0.00. when I double click to get play, the MMC selection jumps randomly to another entry in my MMC. This entry is always a MP3 or ogg format track.

The wma file plays OK in Windows Media Player and in my iriver T30 portable player.

I have installed the WMA codec - I have tried both the v9 and the v10 - with each attempt to install I agree to uninstall the previous version.

I am using dBpoweramp Music Converter Release 12.1.

    Please advise!

    Re: wma codec

For Audio Player you have to install WMA from the legacy codec central, R12s WMA is incompatible with Audio Player.
