When you close down the box, the program crashes. I'm starting to think another program may be interfering with the installation OR I'm not completely eradicating all the program's files.
    Still baffled,

Hmmm it's possible some other program interferes. Do you have other programs that build music collections like this? it need not be that either, actually. Any kind of folder management or file management program that sort of just sits there ready to be used?

Well, nothing I can think of that wasn't there when I originally installed the previous version. It seems that only this new ver 2 has become affected by whatever. I do have WinAmp and Windows Media Player 10 and Acoustic Burner and MP3 programs, but I've had those for some time. The only other program would be Quick Time but I've also had that for some time. Do you know if any of there would definitely interfere? Other than that, no file/folder management programs as you mentioned. Has anyone else had this or a similar problem with ver 2...if so, how did they resolve it?

Go figure.....I erased all the ver2 files including the registry. I then took a shot at d/l'ing the beta 3 version and lo and behold it works just fine! I don't know what is included in the beta 3 but it apparently fixed the problem I was having! (And yes I DID try to d/l ver 2 ONE MORE TIME but it didn't work) Maybe this is a fix for those who get the error messages w/ ver 2?
