How do I supress the pop-ups in W. Explorer

I've just installed dbpowerAMP, and associated most sound types with it. All is well (Ok, I don't like the Icon, but I'll fix that). However, I would really like to supress the big yellow box that pops up on mouse-hover in Windows Explorer. Is this possible? I wouldn't minde a right-click menu item to get the information, but I find the pop-up distracting when I'm viewing the file listings.

You can turn those pop up tool tips off by going into dBpowerAMP Music Converter>>Configuration>>DMC Configuration and uncheck pop up info tips in Explorer.

You can still access those stats without the tool tip by going into the ID tag editor either through right click>>properties>>ID Tag or right click>>Edit Tag or right click>>Convert To>>[Edit Tag]

I just checked the dbpowerAmp Music Converter, and the pop-up box is not checked. Remember, this didn't happen until I installed dbpowerAmp Audio Player, and the configuration panel for that program has no option to turn the pop-ups on/off.

Ok then, go into My Music Collection and click collection at the top then Preferences, uncheck Display Pop Up info tips then hit OK.

I just tried that, but there was no Preferences choice. See screen-shot here:

Whoops, what I said earlier is a feature/option that is in the latest betas. Sorry about that

You can always try installing the latest beta version of dAP out of the beta forum then follow what I said earlier.

                Good luck to you
