I am very confused. The help file with db player says it can normalize volume on tracks by pressing some small green block with an A on it. But I see nothing on the player or any of its other screens with this. Am I blind or is this feature missing? All I can seem to find is the other thing it mentions which is clicking the check box to normalize all new tracks you add. But the button for normalizing volume on current tracks is not there and I especially seen no small green block with an A on it. If anyone can shed some light on this, I would be happy.

Spoon,
How do you "un-click it"? The green "A" button in MMC next to a song - if you click on it and then change your mind? At present it does not allow "unclicking" (I have the newest beta version and Windows ME).
Cheers,
KZ
P.S. Damn, I gotta register for the forum some day.. :-)Comment

thanks and I may have an answer
Thanks to your questioin, I finnally have the answer to mine. Its beside the individual songs. Thanks man. And to answer yours the best I can, I believe you would half to delete the song from the My Music Collection in DB power amp player. The reload the song from where ever it is stored on your pc. I know this is a pain in the rear, but at least its a way to undo the change.Comment

Aha! It works - thanks a lot, Spoon!

P.S. I am still a bit foggy on how exactly volume normalization would work, especially on a single file or just a couple of files. I read the relevant threads e.g. about normalizing up to 86% (why 86?) of (whose - global, local?) maximum, etc., but it does not all make sense to me yet. I'll do some more digging before asking here, though.
Cheers!Comment
