Windows 98es hangs on shutdown

When I have been using db poweramp 2 to play several mp3 files, windows 98se will not shut down, and has to be manually unpluged. This only happens with db poweramp. I have obtained patch from microsoft that is supposed to help the shutdown proceedure, its of no help. I like the player, but evert time I reboot windows gos though scan disk, making the start up proceedure very long. Any thoughts

Try the dAP r3 beta and see if it helps. Also, did you apply the updates listed here: http://www.dbpoweramp.com/Windows95-Update.htm ?

Where do I find dAPr3 ? all I can find is r2, am I missing something ? Thanks nick
