Adding to My Music. won't do all of it ?

In dbpowerAMP My Music collection the prompt in the upper left to add music.
i can go thru that process and select from my F drive {ext.harddrive} and the folder which has about 168gig of music. but it will only do about 10 tracks and they are random not anything like the folder. is there a limitation to how many or parameter change?

Did you check the box to process the subdirectories also? Did you install the codecs for the filetypes in those folders?

Okay LT under file selector, convert to: I have all files marked to convert [red and blue]. the codecs thing I'm not 100% but in that file selector screen "converting" there're all checked off.
This is whats got me puzzled. When I click on convert to: and it brings up the converter. The first line reads..."converting 26 files to Mp3[lame] even though I have selected well over 100 files. Its obvious I haven't selected something quite right in this initial start up process since having to move from the desktop to the notebook cause it performed this file population the first time around, flawless.

The other question I have is why do I need to go through this convert process to add to my music for the player . the player will play wma lossless non protect files, yes. The only thing I need the converter for is of course to convert selected lossless format files to Mp3 for a portable device.

What file types do you have in the structure? Did you install the dMC codecs for these formats so that they can be decoded? Check dMC Configuration (Start --> Programs --> dBpowerAMP Music Converter --> Configuration --> dMC Configuration) to see what codecs are installed into dMC.

Mission accomplished. That was the missing download [wma lossless codec]
I can't thank dbpowerAmp and its forum support staff esp. LtData with prompt and decisive solutions to customer needs. The WORD will be passed.
          Thanx scotch
