You can clear your Previously Played list by going to the file Owner.PreviouslyPlayed.
As for clearing a specific playlist I have found that playlist entries are saved as individual tracks (at least for .m3u playlist created in dAP with tracks already in MMC) and also that deleting a track from the list of tracks in the Previously Played also clears all of the tracks lower in the list than the deleted tracks (but this might be avoided by someone more familiar with whatever computer code is involved).
