Does DAP have some sort of artificial intelligence? I've been using it for a few years now, and I swear, this program seems like it monitors my favorite artists or genres and, then, when in automatic/random play mode, it manages to choose music that it thinks I may like. Is this true? Is there an algorithm in there to do this, or am I crazy?

Random play in dAP is weighted so that tracks that have higher star ratings are more likely to be played than tracks with lower star ratings. Once a track is played, it is supposedly taken out of rotation for the next 100 plays although most of us have experienced occasions where a track will be played a second time (or more) before a 100 tracks have been played.
