    MMC/Editor crashes on attempted export

I want to export a simple text file containing some of the fields. I will be manipulating the data with Linux programs.

So, take the export GUI and uncheck all of the check boxes and wipe out all of the fields.

Then, in layout, enter the following:

    "[artist]"[tab]"[title]"[tab]"[album]"[tab]"[length]"

That will export to a text file just fine. I then decided that the double-quotes weren't necessary, because of the way I'll be using the data. So, take out all of the double-quotes and try to export the file. The program hangs and then ultimately crashes with an Editor.exe error.

There is supposed to be a log file generated someplace, but the crash popup GUI didn't say what the file name was or where it was placed. Makes it a little hard to find when the what and where aren't provided.

    Oops.

    MMC R11.5

Are you using the dAP release 3 beta? Right-click on a blank part of the skin to show the menu. If it just says "dBpowerAMP" you have release 2. The link to the dAP r3 beta is below in my signature.

No, I am not. I know about the r12 beta release. Is there a forum link that discusses the r3 beta release?

I lied, I should have looked before I responded. It is so much fun trying to keep the program names and versions straight.

The dAP is indeed release 3 beta 6.

It isn't a killer. Just wanted to let you guys know what can cause it to crash.

I can get out what I want and just manipulate that output on my Linux box, which is what I needed to do anyway. I just added a step to remove the double-quotes.
