Errors Whilst Recording

After following the directions (from a ringtone converting website using the propgram dbpowerAMP) to convert a music file from mp3 (lame) to wave back to mp3 (lame), it gives me an error message that says "The CODEC required to compress 'C:\...' file could not be openeed." I followed the directions explicitly, but it didn't work. It used to work perfectly, but now it doesn't work at all. Can someone PLEASE HELP ME?

Check dMC Configuration (Start --> Programs --> dBpowerAMP Music Converter --> Configuration --> dMC Configuration) and make sure you have either an unexpired trial or registered version of the PowerPack.
