can't get dap to work at all

Installed dap. It will not start. I have uninstalled. Removed it from the registry and deleted the folder in the programs folder.

So I am clueless as to what to try next? Anyone got any ideas?

Did you try installing the beta dAP release 3? Link below in my signature.
Even though it is beta, it is stable as far as I can tell, and remains beta only because Spoon is not finished adding features or tweaking it yet.

If that still does not work, when you say "won't start" do you mean it won't launch after you install it?
