dppower AMP won't access music files in windows

When I try to access music files in the file selector the browser menu appears but when I try to view any of the music files on my hard drive, the files I know are there aren't showing at all. I can't open them in file selector due to this. What do you think the problem is?

What type of audio files are they?

Do you have the codecs for these files? Did you click the "Converting" button and make sure the file types you want to convert are checked?
