On the right of the Search Combo Box there is a button/menu which, according to the pop-up tip, shall exclude fields from the search. Clicking on this button reveals a Title/Artist/Album menu, all of which are selected (ticked). My understanding of the pop-up tip is that ticked fields will not be searched, but this does not seem to be the case. Indeed, MMC Help states: "The small menu next to Search sets which items are searched for a match." Therefore there appears to be a mismatch between the pop-up tip and MMC Help. Or maybe I am just being plain dumb? :blush:

When you click it to begin with, if they are all checked already then unchecking will remove that item from search. -

Yes, I know. My point is the mismatch between the popup-tip and the actual functionality. The tip window states "Exclude Fields From Search" but the actual functionality is to specify which fields are to be included in the search.Originally posted by Spoon
