This is more of a question: I have heard that OGG supports gap-less playback, but I have not been able to see it work. When I play an OGG file, and then enqueue another, there is always a gap between them. BTW, the same thing happens with WinAmp, so I am wondering if this claim about OGG is true, or am I doing something wrong in dAP?
gap-less playback possible with OGG?

Gapless playback is possible in theory with any codec, it is just up to the playing program to do all the work, until true gapless playback comes into effect try usinghte crossfade option with a few seconds fade.

Hi Spoon, and thanks for this info. I suspected that it was up to the player.
It seems a lot of my CDs have tracks that run together, so when I play them on random, it is annoying to have a song just stop suddenly and another start playing. Cross-fade, BTW, works very well and I've been using it -- great feature!
So my solution is: I rip the tracks that run together as one long track. This works well except I have to use CDex for this functionality, because I can't do this with dMC, unless I have missed this feature (hint: something for WishList :-)Comment
