Hello,
I have bought dBpoweramp (Music Converter & CD Ripper) and use it daily to rip CD's and I always verify them with dBpoweramp's AccurateRip functionality.
Until today, I have always ripped them as wave files. Now, I would like to change my whole music to the FLAC format. Before I converted my files, I have checked them with PerfectTUNES AccurateRip and it told me that all files were accurated ripped (no miracle). Now, after I converted these files to FLAC, I have used PerfectTUNES AccurateRip once again, but now, suddenly PerfectTUNES AccurateRip tells me that some of the albums can not be found in the AccurateRip database, even though I used the FLAC reference encoder including also its verify function to ensure the encoding went properly.
Why did that happen?
Does PerfectTUNES AccurateRip not work properly?
Are there different databases for wave and FLAC files?
This is an important question for me, before I buy PerfectTUNES AccurateRip, I have to be sure that I can rely on it to a hundret percent.
Thank you very much.
