hi there,
basically i'm having problems with a dvd i bought with loads of mp3 acapellas on it. The problem is that whilst some of them play, most of them don't have 0kb original size and no compression ratio and nothing to say what codec it requires. When i play them in media player there is a long track of like 1hr15mins(when it should be a small sample) and no sounds and in other players like nero it says invalid file. When i try and convert it in db it says:
The CODEC required to decompress 'E:\SAMPLES - ACCAPELLA DVD\Dance\H-P\J\- jamie lewis feat michael watford - for you.mp3' could not be opened. :vmad:
I write dancemusic and have opened tghe files in specialist programs like soundforge 7 and cubase and it just says unsupported format or something like that!
Is there anythng i can do about this as it is really getting me down that i might have wasted money on something because i don't know what it ws encoded with!
I appreciate anyones help!!!!
Thanks
Nick
