.m3u is just a meta-file, or a pointer to the real file. Is this .mov file a video file or an audio file? What program created it?

      .mov is a Quicktime format.

      It should be a video.

You probably cannot convert it using dMC.

You may have to play it in Quicktime (or any player that can play it) and use dMC Auxiliary Input to record the audio as it's played through your sound card.

if you have quicktime alternative installed, you can use the directshow input plugin to convert it
