Hello Bill, am starting a new thread about sound problems havea few questions that maybe you can point me in the right direction.
First, I deleted the other cd burner and I have re-installed the cd burner that came with my sony cd-rw writer. It included Nero express smart start verison (nero oem-6.3.1.4) right off the bat it informed me that there was a cd burn rom problem, contacted them by email with the simple question what do I do to correct or fix, of course they come back with a lengthy to do list which I felt was uncessary I have contacted them four times with no luck. I did find an upgrade that has two parts the first d/l takes 2 hours and haven't had the time to d/l it yet.
However, I did burn a cd from it last nite which sounded real good until:
It started stuttering etc. I might mention before I put down the questions that I am using some Memorex cd-rw 12/700/80min cd's that I copy and erase and re-burn you might make a comment on that.
Some of these questions you me some possibilites on sound on a previous thread.
1-Slowing speed, how do I do that?
2-How many cd's on a cd are too many?
3-You mentioned something about "burn proof" not sure where to look for that.
I have noticed that when I am trying to copy a song from the internet which is automatically converted to wave the wm or if I have d/l some real audio files ra, ram etc the song will stop restart an so on. How do you copy files with out all the distortions and racket.
I noticed on the cd I burned laste nite that the first two songs were good, after that the songs started to go into a stuck tpye situation but wood continue to play with many distortions. I know it was not my cd player it is a new Panasonic job.
Appreciate your thoughts and how you copy songs with out all the noise. I also might mention that I am able to use dmcPoweramp and convert to wave while it is playing on the internet. I just have to find them when they are done.
Thanks,
Jim
