Howdy, Folks.
Trying to rip an older Richard Thompson audio CD with dBpowerAMP r9 under W2k, I get the following error message:
CODEC decompression error for '\\CdRom\Track03.cda'
Unable to Rip track - make sure correct Ripping method is selected and CD Drive supports digital audio extraction.
I've got a Samsung CDRW/DVD SM-308B (comes with the Dell box), and have set the Advanced Ripping Configuration to 2000/NT Device IO with MMC Command Set.
Conversion fails from the start, i.e., it doesn't fail half-way through a burn or anything.
Is there anything I can do here? Am I missing a setting? Is the drive unsupported?
Thanks.
