I am in the process of converting all of my mp3 files (about 25000) from various bit-rates(mostly 192 and 256) down to 160 in order to free up space on my hard drive and make more room for more music( I am obsessed). Instead of freeing up disk space it used up disk space. I was only able to convert approx. 1000 files and it used up the last 800MB of disk space. The files that I converted appear to be at 160kbps and the files sound fine. I have my settings set to delete after conversion. Any idea where my disk space has gone to and how to get it back?
thanks,
Heater
