Re: problems with converting wav to mp3
You will first have to convert your 24-bit/96KHz wave to first a 16-bit/96KHz wav using the PowerPack DSP effect "To 16-bit (Dither)" or something along these lines. Then, you will need to drop the frequency of this output wave to 44.1KHz or 48KHz. THEN you can use the LAME encoder.Originally posted by ale210I need converter wav with 24 bit and 96khz of quality to mp3 with the codec lame...I need help please!!!!1
I know that LAME won't accept a 24-bit wav, but I am unsure about what frequencies it accepts. Out of curiosity, where did this wav come from? -
Re: problems with converting wav to mp3
Or run a DSP effect (to 16 bit dither), the mp3 format is only 16 bit, not 24.Comment
