    dB power amp vs Exact audio copy

    is dBpower amp as good as Exact audio copy at extracting perfect files?

    and does it re-read files and compair the results to see if they are the same.... just like exact audio copy

    EAC is normally your best best for hard-to-rip CDs, but use AccurateRip to see if some of your CDs ripped properly: http://www.accuraterip.com

      on that page, it says that Exact Audio Copy uses AccurateRip too....um, so wouldn't both be the same??

        Yes and no. Yes they both use AccurateRip, but dMC will usually rip faster. Also, I find CDGrab easier to use than EAC.

          Also EAC will not use AccurateRip with some of its ripping options. I would only use EAC if I came across a CD that dMC couldn't handle.
