Re: Is it possible to use an ALPHA version of Lame in dMC?
Thta's what I've been trying to say in respect to Winamp. It has the lame encoder codec in the Plugins folder and it's called enc_lame.dll .
If you replace this file by another one which you rename to enc_lame.dll then Winamp will use this other codec. It may not work or may not work well if the new codec is any different from the original one in terms of parameters it accepts from or returns to Winamp.
Similar thing applies to forcing dMC to use a different lame codec.
