My dB converter is installed in a non-default location--can I still install codecs that require it somehow? Because I read the thread about the problematic realplayer codec and someone said to reinstall the converter in the default directory--but I don't want to do that

Thanks! Problem Solved (I feel stupid)
Unfortunately, I still can't stream .ram files on dbPowerAmp, even with RealPlayer8 installed. I tried RealAlternative as well, without Real8 installed, and that didn't work either. It's a REALLY tiny file so I'm pretty sure it's a .ram; what do I do?Comment

If you see http://www.somesite.com/..../somefile.ra then you can dowload that one alone and you'll be working with it.
If you see rttp:// ..... then you cannot download it. The only option is to play the file in Real Player (or Real One or Real ALternative) and record the audio using dMC Auxiliary Input.
