Hello...
I use the cd rip included with dbpoweramp. I like it very much, but now after SP2, it reboots my pc. Sometimes it works, other times my screen turns black and my pc reboots. I unisntalled the program, dl'ed the newest vers. and tried again. Same problem, i then tried another program "audiograb", which i think isn't as good as the dbpower... But the same problem occured here, but not as often.
WinXP never crashes during ripping, mostly if i press a button in my program, like, option, freedb etc.
Else than this problem, my machine runs 100% stable. I have no virus og spyware etc on my pc...
I know the problem isn't your program, but i thought someone might know a solution...
The most important parts of my pc:
P4 3GHz HT
Abit IC7MAX3
1,5 GB pc 3200 ram
2*160 gb sata samsung hdd
MSI DVD writer and a Samsung DVD reader
Oh by the way, my pc seems to run more stable if i before starting the ripping program eject the cdtray and first close it after the program is loaded. It often crashes right when the cdtray incl. a cd is... ermmm... "loaded in". But only in my ripping progs...
This is weird IMO...
