Spoon,
I have some CD's with binaural tones (high and low frequency tones) under the sounds of falling rain that I use for relaxation and brain entrainment. I would like to put these on a mp3 player for convenience but the company says not to because it will loose irs effectiveness due to the mp3 "chopping off: the high and low frequency tones thereby rendering the CD ineffective? Would a lossless codec preserve the high and low frequency tones? If so which one? Are all "lossless codecs" created equal? I noticed that Apple has a lossless codec but still compressess. Which player would you recommend? Your thoughts are greatly appreciated.
