    Re: conversion problem

To use the Fraunhofer codec you need a copy of the program (Mp3Enc31.exe) which as you have seen is not present on your machine. If I am right this program was only available from Fraunhofer commercially and may no longer be available at all.

I'd stick to lame for creating MP3s.

I know no better way than to try :

It may also need to be placed in a particular folder, I don't know if you get the option to search for it.

I actually did this once before for a test and it worked. Not sure if it was the same program name, but it so happend it worked out OK.

I keep getting "security key missing or incorrect" This is an encoder I got for my Cakewalk Music Creator software. I guess it can't be used with any other programs. Unless there is some security key file hidden somewhere.....Hmmmmm

I seem to be getting alot of noise when I rip. Wanna try out somthing different and see If I get the same results. Not sure if its the encoder or my cheap crappy CD Drive...Or somthing else. I've also bee having a problem with the last couple of songs on alot of CD's that I rip skipping...Even tho they are brand new CD's.
