Did this problem ever get solved? The reason I ask is because now I get the exact same errror message.....out of nowhere. It worked fine yesterday, won't do crap today. So far, my experience with the registered version of dMC Audio Cd Input has been far less than satisfactory.

First, we need some more information about your problem:
What OS are you using? Is your CD drive also SCSI or is it IDE? What version of dMC are you using? What is the command set for your CD drive (Options --> CD drive Advanced)?
Can you convert the songs using dMC itself, not the CD ripper?
