    please help me

occasionally i have to convert a large batch of .mp3's. i use File Selector for this. i go from .mp3 to .wav and then to .wma. my problem is that when i convert this large batch of .mp3's, i sometimes get an error message. the error message reads "Unable to write to 'C:\My Music\band\cd\song.wma', disk full?". and have no idea why it happens. i dont use the comp while converting cause it slows everything down. im running Win98SE on a 233 MGHZ Pentium II (yes its old, dont remind me). i have the newest .wma codec. if you know how to help me, email me at mj91588@yahoo.com as ill probably forget to check back here.

what size is your hardrive? how large in size are all the mp3's your converting? as when converting to wav they will take up huge amounts of disk space.

i have two hard drives. one is 80GB and the other is 20GB. the bigger one i use for music. i am not even close to running out of space. the .mp3's i'm converting are average size, between 3 and 7 megabytes. the bitrate sometimes varies, but its usually 128 or 192.

Try reconverting a mp3 file that does not convert to wave, does it convert to wave?

i only asked about the size of your collection you are converting because you said it was large. for every 100 mp3's going to wav you are looking around 3-4 GIG in hardrive space. a lot of people around here deal with 10's of thousands of mp3's. so thats why i asked about your definition of a large batch of mp3's.
