Then that's because the ASF file you have doesn't contain the audio data, it's merely a link to the streamer online.
Look inside the file, you should see a link, try to download that file using a file downloader (like GetRight or GoZilla). You could also try paste the link in Internet Explorer, but I am not sure if it'll work.[URL=http://www.dvdalistic.com/]My DVD Collection[/URL]Comment

Well there's always the AUxiliary Input recording way to do it.
Take a wire from your speaker out to the line-in of your soundcard and use Auxiliary Input to record it as you play it back WMP.[URL=http://www.dvdalistic.com/]My DVD Collection[/URL]Comment
