I can't convert .aac files

Trying to convert an .aac to .wav or any other format shows me the following error:

Error converting to Wave, 'D:\xxxx.aac' to 'D:\xxxx.wav'
Error decoding AAC, file is AAC? [aacstream::clAAC::Create]

Which version dbpoweramp? Which platform? What crested the aac file?
