Yesterday I upgraded to the latest version 2023 (ref) in order to convert some AAC files to m4a, but each file I try will not convert. The log reports corrupt files.
AFAIK the files are not corrupt, they play just fine, and other software will convert these files.

Adding container to aac files
I have a lot of aac files that I would like to add a popular container to without growing file size significantly or de-coding/re-encoding the audio. Is there a utility at dBPowerAmp for this or any other site? I'd prefer a GUI utility as I'm not comfortable with DOS. Thanks in advance. -
How to use the converter to produce m4a files
I am using DbPoweramp v14 and have just had to reinstall windows, and forgotten what I did previously. I've downloaded my DbPoweramp again and the CD Ripper is fine, but when I go to convert these to m4a the option is greyed out. If I click on m4a it tells me I need to download software and then asks... -
m4a Codec
I am clearly missing a trick here. Due to a glitch I have had to reinstall my dbpoweramp software. I now do not have a encoder for m4a AAC (non apple). All the boomph tells me that m4a is included with dbpoweramp, but can I find it? No. In my encoder folder there is an m4a (Nero).ico file for mp4 but... -
Lyricist metadata doesn't properly transfer from FLAC to AAC
I have lyricist metadata embedded in my FLAC files, and when I convert to other formats, it carries over. When I convert to AAC (m4a), whether I use the Fraunhoffer encoder or Apple's encoder, lyricist metadata doesn't exactly transfer over. However, when I convert using Apple's encoder using Musicbee... -
I can't convert .aac files
Trying to convert an .aac to .wav or any other format shows me the following error:

Error decoding AAC, file is AAC? [aacstream::clAAC::Create] -
"Error writing audio data to stdin pipe" with all aac files
I'm doing a bulk multi-conversion that includes (and must include) several different AAC files, in LC mode and HEv2 as well as M4A. I've been successfully making these exact same conversions for over a year, but suddenly the AACs are all failing, giving the error message:

Codec Tags
Hi sir,
I’m converting some songs from mp3 to m4a using dbpoweramp.
After finishing converting I see that the codec tags have additional text after “MPEG-4 AAC”.
If you can help me to remove that information after the codec itself I would be very pleased. Thanks. -
Why is the apple m4a is so large?
I am trying to convert my flac files to apple's AAC format.
I am using ANYMP4 converter and dbPoweramp converters. The first generates raw AAC files; the latter generates m4a files. What surpised me most is the size difference on the output files (for the same quality: 256kbps). ... -
AAC on TuneIn
I have problems playing radio channels in TuneIn using AAC. Channels using MP3 are fine.
I have Asset 6.1 for Windows and Qnap. Some channels are OK from the Windows version and some are very slow.
When it comes to the Qnap version, all channels using AAC are just noise. -

Need ACC which appears to have been created by iTunes
My car's audio player supports only mp3, wma, and aac files for playing. Quotes from the 2016 Honda Civic user’s manual:
“Only AAC format files recorded with iTunes are playable on this unit.”
“Some versions of MP3, WMA, or AAC formats may be unsupported”

Is it possible to (still) use the Nero AAC Encoder with the latest version of dBpowerAmp (15.1)? I just bought it and still have the Encoder from Nero on my HDD, so I'd like to insert into the Converter program. Any chance or tutorial on how to do this?
Thank you for your help. ...
