    Re: Error Running Core Converter

Good question... how do I figure this out? I went and did the registration retrieval on the website and downloaded whatever the link links to.

    Edit: I found it, it's 64 bit.

I clicked on dbPoweramp and the configuration screen said 64 bit.

So, when installing R16.4 64-bit, you are manually changing the install directory, from the default C:\Program Files\dBpoweramp?

What is the OS, 32-bit or 64-bit?

You are best to uninstall dBpoweramp, then run this:

...also how to do a full reset of dBpoweramp? (if dBpoweramp crashes for some reason) Where does dBpoweramp save its files / settings? It is installed to c:\Program Files\Illustrate\dBpoweramp or c:\Program Files (x86)\Illustrate\dBpoweramp The 64 bit version of dBpoweramp is installed to: c:\Program Files\dBpoweramp It

Then reinstall, it should select the default folder for install:

            C:\Program Files\dBpoweramp

So I uninstalled, ran the utility (once as admin, once not) and reinstalled into c:\program Files\ and it seems to work.

I've never had a problem before, why the sudden necessity to install to a particular location?

                Re: Error Running Core Converter

The installer includes the 32 and 64 bit version of dBpa and relies on the windows standard convention for the program folder naming.
