Install freezes on Windows 10

Hi, I just reinstalled windows 10 and tried to install dbpoweramp 16.2. The installation process stops on "running windowsxpremoveprophandler.exe". I cancel it and music converter works but won't place the convert option on right click (even though I select it on the config) and is trying to write a converted file into a different name. In other words, weird behavior. This never happened in many many years of usage throughout various incarnations of windows and machines (including this machine with win 10).
Any suggestions??

Your windows must be in a locked down state, so dBpoweramp cannot run normally.

If you have security software, your first step is to uninstall it and try then.
