    LOL! User error :D

    I have never attempted to convert .asf files directly, maybe that works. I have always first renamed them to .wma just to avoid possible problems. I should test to see if it actually works of its won accord with .asf files too :D


    **** UPDATE **** It actually works! I seem to have so little faith in automatic things :D

      Christina, I remember you saying before that ASF is only a meta-file that points to the real audio files or something like that.....perhaps that is why this ASF file can't be converted to mp3? Or am I wrong? :confused:

        No, it's not .asf - but rather .asx which is the meta file. :D
