Strange Sound

When recording from audio tapes with Auxiliary Input I get a short blip io music after the end of each recording!! Any ideas on what is causing this??

I am recording in wave format there is about a half sec delay then the blip of sound!!

Do you call a blip something where half a second of sound is missing, or some other noise?

Hi Spoon Thanks for you reply At the end of the recorded track there is about half a second of silence then half a second of what sounds like music??

and you are using the AutoStart and AutoEnd options in AuxInput?

Yes that is right ...it does not do it if I stop the recording manually???

Yes I have tried a number of different settings but run into truble with false stops and starts... I have solved the problem by putting a 200ms trim dsp effect on each track.
I congratulate you on an excelent program... Thankyou for your help
