Hi friends in this forum,
I'm a new user of dbPowerAMP 9.0. Recently I encoded some MP3 music using EAC and LAME 3.90.3 with the "-Alt-Preset Standard" option. Afterwards I go to Windows Explorer and view the audio file info displayed by dbPowerAMP. Strangely, it reported these info wrongly:
Length (mm:ss) : 18:12 reported, but it should be 4:27
Compression Ratio : 30 to 1 (3%) reported
Average Bitrate (Kbps) : 46
I wonder if there is some problem for dbPowreAMP to read VBR MP3, resulting in a length too large, and hence too high compression and too low bitrate?
Much grateful if you can help me figure out the problem. Is there any solution?
Many thanks!
